Shirley Ann Houlk

Shirley Ann Houlk, 79, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 13, 2022.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Houlk and son Rick Houlk; parents, Thomas and Mary Dalton and Bobby’s; parents Charlie and Martha Houlk.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Lisa Kaylor (Tom); grandson, Mark Allmon (Sharon); great-grandson, Jacoby Allmon; daughter-in-law, Jen Perdew Houlk; aunts Rose Mae Hitson, Berdie Patterson, and cousin, Doris Rumba; dozens of other cousins and relatives.

Everyone loved Shirley’s quick witt, humor and kindness. In her retirement she loved quilting, spending time with her great grandson and gardening. Shirley retired from Big Frog Expeditions where she was known as Miss Shirley to all the river guides who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Companion Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2022,
from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, followed by the service in the chapel. Internment
will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
