Sheryl Ann Elliott

Sheryl Ann Elliott, 59 of Decatur, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on September 11th, 2017, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee surrounded by family. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her Mother Marion Calvert and her Father Bill Calvert. Survivors include her cherished husband of 41 years David Elliott from Decatur, her daughter Marion Stokes (The Late Steve Stokes deceased), of Decatur and Ralph Elliott and special friend Jennifer Galyon of Decatur. Sheryl loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were Steven Stokes Reedy of Collins, New York, Bridget Stokes Gabbert of Clarksville, Tennessee, Angel Marie Branam of Athens, Tennessee, Michael Gibson, Tyler Elliott, and Devon Elliott all of Decatur. Other survivors include her sister Glenda “Tish” and Daniel McGill of Antioch, Tennessee and Kimberly and Johnny Meredith of Cadiz, Kentucky. One sister-in-law, Vicki and Ben Ybarra of Decatur, and Brother-in-law Greg and Cathy Elliott of Cleveland, Tennessee. Also several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and a host of special friends. A graveside ceremony will be held on September 25th, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee with the Rev. Barry Lee officiating. Prayers for the family as they lay Sheryl to rest. Companion Funeral Home are in charge of these arrangements.
