Shenika "Nika" Pendergrass

Shenika M. Pendergrass, 28, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Nika was born on April 21, 1998 in Havelock, North Carolina.

Nika always had a smile on her face. She had many hobbies some of which included spending time with her dogs, listening to music, dancing, and most of all babysitting children of whom she adored.

Nika leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Tony Pendergrass and Kellie Vines; siblings, Alishia Pendergrass, Tanda Higdon, Michaela Cruz, David Doneghy, Brent (Jess) Vines, and Tony (Yessina) Taele; and her nieces and nephews, Isari Clark, Briella Doneghy, Quinton Bennett, Chloe Vines, Bryson and Edwin; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel. The family wil be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.
