Shelia Smith of Soddy Daisy passed away July 28, 2025. She is reunited with her loved ones and is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was a loving mom, granny, sister, aunt and friend. She loved helping dogs find their forever home and would help anyone she could. Her love and concern for her family was immeasurable. She will be greatly missed.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Samuel (Dalkie) and Ruth James, loving husband Terry Smith, sister and brother-in-law Ganeene and Jr Gann, brothers Leroy James and Kenny James.
Her surviving family include her daughter Paula (Gary) Hobbs; grandchildren Deanna (Ben) Harvey, Nicholas (Lacey) Stone and Aaron Stone; great grandchildren Kialea, Arabella, Bentley and Raylan; Sisters Faye White, Dede Daughtery and Donna (Don) Clingan; Sister-in-law Charlotte James and Brother Daryl (Gayle) James. Also, many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
