Sharon Watters

Sharon Watters, 76, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2023.

Born on December 25, 1946, Sharon lived a life centered on faith, family, and simple joys. She found comfort in reading and sharing the Bible and enjoyed spending quiet time on her computer. One of her greatest pleasures was welcoming her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren into her home for visits. Sharon was also well known among her family for her wonderful recipes, especially her desserts and home-cooked meals, which brought loved ones together around the table.

Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Gary; sisters, Linda, Kathy, Betty Bayes, Edith, Ester, Judy, and Regina; and her daughter, Addie E. Coles.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Alvin; her sister, Sandy; her children, Angela D. Coles, William H. G. Coles II, and Gary L. Coles; her grandchildren, Toni D. Tucker, Avery D. Coles, Benita S. Coles, George Coles, and Hester Wayne Coles III; and her great-grandchildren, Shairon Tucker, Breniah Coles, Shamirreanna Coles, Imani Coles, Markayla Cunningham, and Markell Cunningham. She leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Sharon’s legacy of faith, kindness, family devotion, and hospitality will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her love for family, her strong faith, and the memories she created around her table will be treasured for generations to come.
