Sharon R. Lawson

Sharon R. Lawson, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away on April 16, 2026. She was born in Chattanooga on August 9, 1951, to the late Fred and Della Watson Minor. She enjoyed tending to her gardens and flowers. She also liked shopping at antique and thrift stores and watching Antique Road Show. She enjoyed painting and prowling through her jewelry collection. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sharon was a loving and devoted, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mickey Lee Minor; brother, Freddie Minor; great-granddaughter, Skyla Yarber.

She is survived by her children, Michael (LeeAnn) Minor, Denise Sullivan, Deanna Lopopolo; sister, Sandra Cook; brother, Larry Minor; grandchildren, Laura (Josh) Pensyl, Amanda Minor, Todd (Lexi) Minor, Brianna Minor, Brent Minor, Tiffany (Bobby) Brown, Samantha (Matthew) Flora, Jayden Walden, Brooke Lopopolo (Robert Huckabee), Brittney Lopopolo, Beth Minor, and Mickey Devin Minor; great-grandchildren, Hayzel, Jayven, Holland, Joshua, Samuel, Kailyn, Addie, HavenLynn, JohnJohn, BronBron, Crystal, Jazzy, Anna’Lynn, and Robert “Bubba”; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held at Companion Funeral Home located at 6018 John Douglass Drive, in Chattanooga on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 12:00PM until 4:00PM. A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will begin at 4:00PM in the Chapel at Companion Funeral Home.
