Sharon M. Barrone, 76, of Sweetwater, TN passed away from this life on July 6th, 2025 after her battle with MS. She was born on May 24th, 1949, in Rockford, IL to Wesley and Annetta Stenzel. Sharon was the 3rd of 4 kids.
Sharon was one of the sweetest ladies you could have ever known. After she graduated high school, she became a beautician and then she worked as an inspector at a local place in Rockford, IL. But above all, Sharon's favorite job was being a nanny to three girls for several years. Her hobbies were quilting, sewing, and traveling to Florida for six weeks every year. Sharon was also an excellent baker and made the absolute best apple pie!
She married the love of her life, Ed Barrone in April 1996 in Gatlinburg, TN.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Annetta Stenzel; brother, Butch Stenzel; and sister, Mary Smothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Ed Barrone of Sweetwater, TN; brother, John Stenzel of Sweetwater, TN; brother in-laws, Jerry Barrone of FL and Danny Barrone of IL; sister in-laws, Diane Fox of Estero, FL and Lilly Wells from Madison, WI; stepchildren, Edward D. Barrone of Rockford, IL and Melissa Barrone of AZ; grandchildren, Beth (Tony) Martin of AZ and Kyle Barrone of Rockford, IL; great grandchildren, Trey Martin, Drew Martin and Lila Martin who she lovingly called her "diva" all of AZ; special friend, of a lifetime, Stacey Horner whom her and Sharon called each other "stable mates"; special friend and caregiver, Rhonda Hamilton, who is a retired nurse and substitute Sunday school teacher. Rhonda came to the Barrone residence one morning after her obligations of taking care of her great grandbabies and was there every day until Sharon went home. Rhonda, you are truly a special woman, and the family cannot thank you enough for all you did for Sharon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
