Shareef Ar-Rahmaan, Jr., 16, passed away October 29, 2025. He was born September 8, 2009, in Chattanooga, TN.

Shareef is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Nannie K. Cosey and Frankie Mae Howard; grandmother, Venora Borngn'e; grandfather, St.Clair "Michael" Borngn'e; aunts, Emma Cato and Theora Owens; uncles- Eric, Eddie, and Reginald Hitchcock.

Survived by his mom, Michaela Borngn'e; dad, Shareef Ar-Rahmaan Sr.; sister, Breuiana Ar-Rahmaan; nephews; Kyrie, Kysier, Kymir Ar-Rahmaan, grandmother, Sabrina (Jimmy) Shropshire; grandfather, Alvin (Pauline) Ar-Rahmaan; great grandparents, Charlene Bailey, Jeehan and Alvin Ar-Rahmaan Sr.; aunts, Cherilyn Thomas, L'Tonya Simpson, Shacara Taylor, Leandra Richardson, Sakari Pack, Roxann "Rockei" Allen, Bridgette and Shara Hitchcock, Shari Montgomery, Jayla and Hadiayah Ar-Rahmaan; uncles, Sarim In Salahadhin, Jamel and Raphael Ar-Rahmaan, Kelvin Turnbow; cousins, Brittany Borngn'e, Kaniesha, Kelmeshia, Tamara Turnbow, ReSheda and Robert Shannon, and a host of family and friends.

Special thanks to everyone who played a role in loving and caring for my little man. SJ knows he was loved by many. Now you get to rest, no more pain, just peace.
