Obituary
Shannon Lee Long, 52, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday morning, November 23rd, 2013 in a local hospital. Shannon was born on December 31, 1960 in Phoenix, AZ. She was of the Christian faith. Shannon has made Cleveland her home for the past 13 years. Also for the past thirteen years Shannon has been employed with the Captain D’s restaurant on 25th Street where she was currently a manager. Shannon had a passion for serving others and took great pleasure in helping and giving back to those around her. She was also an avid animal lover.
Shannon leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother and father Nancy L. and Calvin L. Holland, two sisters Stacey Emigh and Debbie Rogers, one brother Donald Emigh, two nieces Traci Semones (John David) and Alissa Wilson, two nephews Manuel Gomez (Jessica) and Cameron Emigh, two great nephews Weston & Aldon Semones, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, November 26th, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church located at 433 North Ocoee Street with the Dr. Joseph R. Tanner officiating.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time.
