Serena Dawn Johnson

Serena Dawn Johnson, 28, passed away on June 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Though her time on earth was far too short, Serena will remain forever young in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Born on August 26, 1997, in Lancaster, California, Serena will be remembered for her kind and beautiful soul, her strength and tenacity, and the loyalty she showed to those she loved. Family always came first in Serena's heart, and her family extended far beyond blood. When she loved you, she loved you fiercely.

She is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Sophia Marie, Miracle Elise, and Wynter Grace; her mother, Kimberly Morgan; her father, Todd Johnson; her sister, Jennifer Ross; her brothers, Jacob Ross, James (Candace and Braxton) Ross, and Robbie (Andrea) Johnson; her maternal grandparents, Steve and Saundra Harris; her paternal grandmother, Grandma Starla; and extended family and many special friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her great-aunts, Renee Baker and Deva Willis; her sister-in-law, Brittney Bledsoe; and her dear friends, Alexa Stone, Dylan Christensen, and Kassy Shadrick.

In her final act of generosity, Serena became an organ donor, offering the gift of life to others. Through this final gift, she was able to save and improve the lives of five people-a lasting reminder that even in pain, there is beauty.

Her family finds comfort in the promise of God's unfailing love and mercy, holding Serena close in their hearts until they meet again.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Lighthouse International Church in Charleston, Tennessee.
