Sandra Mull

Sandra Jo Mull, "Sandy" to her friends and "Mamaw Sandy" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passed peacefully in her home in Cleveland, Tennessee on December 2, 2025, surrounded by the family she cherished. She left this world wrapped in love after standing up to cancer with grit, grace, and that familiar spark of stubborn strength. Though many of her grandchildren were spread across the globe on the night of her passing, each of them held her close in spirit, just as she always held them.

Born on April 28, 1950, Sandy built a life defined by deep faith, devotion to family, and a bold curiosity for the world far beyond her front porch. She was an active member of Waterville Baptist Church, where her kindness and warmth were as constant as her laughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Mull Sr., Kathleen Mull and her sister, Sherian Mull Smith.

She is survived by her three children, Jake McClanahan (Lori), Shannan Payne (Tim), and Barbara Neidich (Aaron); her five grandchildren, Matthew Park, Zach Park (Shay), Luke Park (Cheyanne), Beau Neidich (Mario), and Aubrey Neidich; and her four great-grandchildren, David, Mallory, Jemma, and Jay Clark.

Sandy lived fully, loved fiercely, and leaves behind a family strengthened by her faith and perhaps most of all, her humor. Her absence creates a space that can only be filled by the stories, laughter, and memories she leaves behind.

Her family celebrates her homegoing with gratitude for the 75 years of life she shared with them, and with hope in the promises of her faith. Mamaw Sandy's journey continues, and her light goes with us.
