Ruthann Joy Rhear

Ruthann Joy Rhear, 61, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. Born on August 24, 1964, Ruthann was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Rhear; father, Carl Rhear; brothers, David Rhear, Bud McArthur, and Kenny Rhear; and daughter, Crystal Woods.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sabrina Spence and Rachel Spence; son-in-law, Chris Smith; grandchildren, Riley Spence, Breann Tobitt, Hailey Woods, Emily Woods, Jayden Woods, Zoey Huffer, John Alex Huffer, and Ronniex Spence; brother, Jimbo Rhear; nieces, Faith Rhear and Amber Rhear; and nephew, Scotty Rhear.

Ruthann loved spending time outdoors and treasured every moment with her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking for those she loved and never met a stranger, as she had a heart full of kindness and a gift for making friends wherever she went. Her joyful spirit, laughter, and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Ruthann also loved reading her Bible and attending church, where she found strength and peace in her faith.

Her favorite scripture was 2 Corinthians 5:7: "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

The family will forever cherish the many memories shared with Ruthann and the love she gave so freely throughout her life.
