Ruth Wortham

Ruth Claudena Siddall Wortham passed away peacefully in her home in Rockwood, TN, on June 7, 2025. She was 86 years of age. She lived with her daughter Angel and children for many years. She moved from Jellico, TN, where she was born on June 16 , 1939. She was a well loved resident of Jellico until 2012. She worked at the sewing factory in Jellico for many years. Her passion was gardening, she loved her flowers and her two beloved dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Slyvanus Siddall and Charlsie Fritts Siddall; her daughter Amy Hackler and her husband Tim Hackler; grandson Charles Kennedy; and all of her beloved brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind her children and their families: daughters Angel Wortham Hale and her children Destiny Hale, Avery Hale, Kerk Kennedy and Kelsey Hale Jr.; Connie Wortham Clagg and her husband Brad Clagg, her children Christina Clagg, Spencer Clagg and Kere Clagg; Dixie Wortham Milton; Brenda Wortham Shillings; son Eddie Wortham, his common law spouse Mary Johnson and children William Wortham and his spouse Savannah Wortham, Edward Wortham Jr. and his spouse Brenda Wortham; grandchildren Rachel Hackler, Ashley Hackler
Addie Hackler and Brayden Hackler; great grandchildren Zeva Hale, Slyvanus Hale, Yui Clagg,
Lillian Wortham, Luna Wortham and Levi Wortham.

Per Ruth's wishes, no grave side services where held. Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Oak Ridge, TN, has charge of the arrangements.
