Ruby Hensley

Ruby Hensley, 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family November 2, 2025. She was born January 24, 1932, to the late Bourbon Galloway and Tilda Wares in Miracle, Kentucky.

Ruby was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, above everything else.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Johnson; daughter, Betty Blaylock; sisters, Frances Hulsey and Essie Guy; brothers, Ray Galloway and Carl Galloway.

Survived by her sons, Freeman Blaylock, Vernon Blaylock, HC Hensley, Rick Hensley and Frank Hensley; daughters, Ann Hensley Woods (Bart), Carolyn Hensley Tsouprake (Rob) and April Bowman; sister, Alma Sandefur; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Heaven gained an angel.
