Roxanna "Roxie" Shank

Roxanna "Roxie" Louise Shank, 77, of Athens, passed away on May 17, 2025.

Roxie found joy in life's simple pleasures-spending her time working on puzzles, tending her garden, knitting, and canning. She also had a special fondness for classic Westerns, especially those featuring her favorite, John Wayne.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leah Fetzer; brothers, Steve Fetzer and Ki Fetzer.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Richard Shank; three children, LeAnn Fitzpatrick (Mark), Rich Shank (Holly), Dawn Steffel (Aaron); 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Vickie Winchester (Pat) and Tina Tusa (Roy); brother, Bob Fetzer (Amy); her beloved dog, Penny; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have no formal services per Roxie's wishes.
