Roscoe Howard

Roscoe V. Howard, 77, passed away April 8, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born July 25, 1944, to the late Floyd & Cecil Howard in Big Springs, TN.

Preceded in death by his sisters, Willie Womack, Lizie Couey, Tip Long, Rose Scroggins, Edna Shaver, and Christine Thompson; brothers, John “Bud” Howard, Edward “Bo” Howard, Ira Howard, Ronnie Howard, and Junior Howard.

Survived by his loving wife of 47 years of marriage, Christine Howard; children, Tammy Bain, Mickey (Tina) Johnson, Lynn (Teresa) Johnson, Kenneth (Tracy) Howard, and Lamar (Misty) Howard; siblings, Jessie Ray Howard, of Birchwood, TN, Donnie Howard, of Cleveland, TN, and Pete Howard, of Decatur, TN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service in the chapel at 4:00 PM with Rev. David Evans, officiating. Burial will be held at Cofer Cemetery in Georgetown, TN with pallbearers Dylan, Jordan, Aiden, Logan, Clint, and Blake.
