Ronnie D. Long Jr.

Ronnie D. Long Jr., 55, passed away on September 27, 2026. He was born to the late Ronnie D. Long Sr. and J. Pearl Long on November 6, 1970 in Los Angeles, California.

Ronnie was an avid comic book collector from the age of 15. He also liked to collect video games, movies and action figures. He enjoyed playing poker, especially online tournaments. He was a frequent online retailer, and loved to watch the movie Beetle Juice.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ramona and Charles Burrell, Lois Long, and Johnny and Viola Carnes.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Dawn D. Long, children, Stephen Long, Alison (Matthew) Mendenhall, Jacob (Hailey) Long, Logan (Kat Fields) Long, grandchildren, Parker Mendenhall, Tucker Mendenhall, Shelby Mendenhall, brother, Josh P. (David Guyton) Long, and his in-laws, Ed and Donna Lundy.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel with Minister Terry Couch officiating. The family will be receiving friends 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation in Ronnie's honor.
