Ronald Dean Hall, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2026.

Ronald was a man who believed in hard work, helping others, and appreciating the simple moments in life. He was a member of Hallsburg Baptist Church in Duck, West Virginia, and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Throughout his life, he held several occupations, including working as a coal miner, timber cutter, truck driver, and wire manufacturer, a position he dedicated 30 years of service to. Ronald was known for his kindness, friendship, strong work ethic, and warm smile. These qualities, along with the many lives he touched, will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Albert Hall and Mabel Jarvis Hall; his daughter, Beverly Jean Sheffield; and his siblings, Bernard, Mary, Judy, Roy, Dorothy, Gene, Carl, and Velma.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Nellie Lou Hall; his children, Charolette (Jack) Goins and Amy (Joseph) London; his grandchildren, Jacob (Sydney) Sheffield, Drew (Michaela) Goins, Chad Sheffield, Kyle (Haylee) Goins, and Nicholas (Cheyenne) London; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved as his own children.

Ronald will be laid to rest at Locust Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Ronald leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
