Roger Paul Byerley

Roger Paul Byerley of Maryville, age 57, passed into the arms of Jesus in the early morning hours of Friday July 3rd after a battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's. 

 He was a 1987 graduate of Maryville High School where he excelled on the tennis team. He was a senior team leader at Skier's Choice in Maryville for 14 years before his diagnosis prevented him from working. 

 He was preceded in death by grandparents Lucille and Paul Byerley and Bess and Paul Jones, mother, Betty Byerley, father, Robert Byerley, stepmother Maggie Byerley, brother Jon Byerley, sister-in-law Kendra Byerley, and father-in-law Tom Bragg.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Beth Bragg Byerley, son and daughter-in-law Bryce and Danielle Byerley, daughter and fiancé Ashleigh Walbrown and Darryl Braun, grandchildren Camden Mewborn and Landon Braun, brothers Michael and Scott Byerley, mother-in-law Sue Bragg, and a host of nieces and nephews.

 A receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 2-4 pm at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1301 East Broadway Ave in Maryville. If you knew Roger in any way, please come and share your stories as we remember his life.
