Robert Michael Simpson, 73, of Ten Mile went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2026.

Robert had a love for many hobbies and interests throughout his life. He was an avid gardener and a certified HAM radio operator. He especially enjoyed target shooting, with skeet shooting being a favorite pastime that he shared with his grandchildren. Robert also had a passion for classic cars and a strong interest in aviation. He will be remembered for the many interests he enjoyed and the special memories he created with those he loved.

Robert was a devout Christian who was dedicated to his faith and work with the Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, amazing father, and a selfless man who found joy in helping others. He was loved by many and will be missed immensely.

Preceded in death by his parents, CD and Ruth Simpson; and brother, Charles Simpson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marilyn Simpson; daughters, Mika (CJ) Davis and Marla (Justin) Myers; grandchildren, Wyatt, Sawyer, and Molly Davis and Sigyn and Aiden Myers; sister, Becky Love; brother, Joseph (Kathy) Simpson; and many other loved family members and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations in his memory be made to Children's Home in Paragould, AR (5515 Walcott Rd., Paragould, AR 72450)
