Robert Long

Robert Edward Long Jr., age 59, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on May 4, 2025.

Robby was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. Everyone who knew him loved him. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and other family and friends. He loved to build things, and was extremely good with his hands until he became unable. He was a roofer for 20 years, and before that he worked construction. He will truly be missed by so many.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Carole long.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his significant other of 32 years, Kim Derryberry; two sons Austin Long (Ashley), and Dakota Derryberry (Susie); four grandchildren Kassandra Rives, Cambria Derryberry, Jaxon Derryberry, and Ashtin Long; two sisters Cindi Jaynes (Gary), and Linda Berge; grandfather Ben Pease; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private memorial at a later date, per Robby's wishes.

A special thanks from the family to all of our close family and friends who were by our side in the end, and Tapestry Hospice for taking such good care of him and being so thoughtful.
