Robert Leo Boyl Sr.

Robert “Bob” Leo Boyl Sr., 66, of Sweetwater,TN went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 1, 1955 to the late Robert and Margie Boyl. Bob enjoyed driving a truck for a living and spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings; Donnie Boyl, Jimmy Boyl, Diane Bowman, and Phylis Valdez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna Saylor-Boyl of Sweetwater, TN; his children, Jimmy Saylor of South Dakota, Brian Saylor of Sweetwater, TN, David Boyl (April) of Michigan, and Robert Boyl Jr. of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kristen McDaniel of Sweetwater, TN, Carpathia Saylor of TN, Gabriel Saylor of AL, Isaiah Saylor of TN, Jason Jeffers of MI, Jordan Brown of MI, Bradley & Kayanna Short of MI, Brittany & Austin Calhoun of TN, and Caleb Saylor of KY; his great grandchildren, Camden & Braxton McDaniel of TN, and Jaxson Calhoun of TN; his siblings, Kathy York of MI, Becky Boyl of MI, Tyrone Boyl (Kim) of MI, Brian Boyl of MI, Jim Saylor (Rhonda) of KY, Dorothy Sizemore of KY, Pete Crawford of TN, and Connie Boyl of MI; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 400 S. White Street / Athens, TN 37303.
