Robert Joe Cooper

Robert Joe Cooper, age 76, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2026. Joe was a good man who loved God, his friends, and his family. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and had been employed by U.S. Pipe and Aztec Industries.

He is survived by his wife, Cecelia; daughter, Leigh, her husband, Mark Godfrey; sons, Cecil and Leon; daughter, Mia and her husband, Chris Boudreaux; brother, Charles Cooper; sister-in-law, Mary Dobbins; uncle, Charles Cooper and his wife, Ann; many dear cousins, nieces and nephews, dear friends, Earl and Judy Shipley, his Thursday Bible study group, and members of his life group at Liberty Baptist Church.

A celebration of his life will be held on March 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Liberty Baptist Church in Chatsworth, GA.

 He will be greatly missed.
