Robert "Scott" Collins, age 61 of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026. He lived in Cleveland all of his life and loved living out in the country surrounded by family.

Scott was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a friend to everyone. Above all else, Scott was a family man with a heart bigger than words could describe. He loved his family fiercely and made sure they knew it every day.

Scott was married to the love of his life, Tawna Collins, for almost 38 years. He was a proud father to three daughters, Brittany, Brooke, and Tasha. His girls knew if there was something that needed fixing, Dad was just a phone call away. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his girls. With raising three girls, he was able to welcome three son-in-laws (Ryan, Jamie, and Jason) and loved them as his own. If there was one thing that brought Scott a special kind of joy, it was being a PawPaw. To his seven grandchildren, he hung the moon. He was their biggest fan. Scott was endlessly proud of his family and could tell story after story about his grandchildren to anyone who would listen. His face lit up when he talked about them, and it was easy to see that being their PawPaw was one of his greatest blessings.

For most of his life, Scott was a truck driver and knew all of the interstates across the country. If he wasn't on the road, he could be found tinkering with his truck and working on something in the building. Scott was also known as "Rock" on the softball field and by his friends. He loved playing, but he traded his time on the field to watch his children and grandchildren from the stands.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Betty Collins and his Uncle Fred Clayton.

He leaves behind his loving wife of almost 38 years, Tawna Collins. He also leaves behind his three beloved daughters and their husbands: Brittany and Ryan Ensminger, Brooke Collins and Jamie Yarber, and Tasha and Jason McCann. His greatest joy was his grandchildren: Collins and Randy Ensminger, Kinsley Collins, Parker and Connor Yarber, Tucker Truelove, and Spencyr McCann. Others left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Bo Collins (Missy) and Billy Collins (Tery), his sister, Lynnette Collins, many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2026 at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service Cleveland Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 pm with Pastor Mickey Clark officiating.

You are invited to share a personal memory of Scott Collins or your condolences with his family at the online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com.
