Robert M. "Bob" Clark, 89, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026. He was born in Loudon County, Tennessee on June 4, 1937, and was a son of the late Jennings and Haven Clark. Bob was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Loudon High School in May 1955 and joined the Air Force two weeks later. After completing ten weeks of basic training at Lackland AFB in Texas, he was sent to Lowry AFB in Colorado and completed training to become a Bombing Navigational Systems Technician. Bob spent a 20-year career in the Strategic Air Command as a Bombing Navigational System Technician first of B47's but most of the time on the B52's. He loved the United States of America and was good at his job. Bob especially liked flying as a Hard Hat, fixing the Systems in the Air, many times on the way from Guam, Okinawa or Thailand to Vietnam. He worked for 28 years at McKee Foods Corporation in various Electrical and Electronic positions retiring in February 2004.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one daughter Rhonda Raines, one sister Diana and one brother Kelly.

Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of fifty plus years Joan Price Clark, one son and daughter in law Stan and Sharon Clark, five grandchildren Alex Evans (Caleb), Dillon Clark, Conner Clark, Nick Ownby and Brandi Eslinger (Heath) of Virginia, eight great grandchildren Damon, Aspen, Jase, Lucy, Brooke, Maddie, Kaelynn and Carson. Bob is also survived by one brother William Clark (Dora Lee), one sister Margaret Brooks two nieces Patricia and Jennifer, all of Loudon, TN, many other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will have a private graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Tom Wickes officiating and will conclude with military honors.
