Ricky Lee Byrd, born on July 30, 1970, in San Antonio, Texas, departed this world on October 9, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy in the heavy and civil engineering construction industry as a Mill Operator - A devoted father to his daughter, Natalee Taylor Byrd, and son, Garrett Lee Byrd. Ricky's love for family was evident to all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Garrett Lee Byrd & Natalee Taylor Byrd&Christopher M Stringer (Son-in-law) He is also survived by his sisters, Becky Grizzard, Linda Brewer, Nita Davis, Cheryl Hall, and Regina Teague, along with his niece Leayn Maddox and nephews Timothy and Jimmy Maddox - along with many more nieces and nephews.
Ricky was not only recognized as a legend from the east coast to the west coast for his extraordinary skills in milling, but he also embraced life with a passion for adventure. He found joy in the great outdoors-traveling the entire United States with his children - Though Glacier National Park in Montana was his favorite. His spirit resonated with the thrill of survivalism, often sharing moments of campfires and shooting with family and friends, embodying the essence of a life well-lived.

His legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched, a testament to a life filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of adventure.
