Rickey Roland Scheffler

Rickey Roland Scheffler, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away May 10, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and love that will never be forgotten.

Born August 26, 1958, Rickey was known for his hardworking spirit, kind heart, and deep love for his family. For more than 20 years, he worked as a truck driver, dedicating himself to providing for those he loved while building friendships and stories along the open road.

Rickey shared a loving marriage with his wife, Nancy Scheffler, who stood beside him through life's many journeys. He was a proud father to Jennifer Scheffler, who preceded him in death, Amanda Scheffler, and Nathan Scheffler. He was also a devoted grandfather to Jeremy "Sammy" Jones, David Scheffler, Stacy Scheffler, Natilie Scheffler, and Kimberly Scheffler who brought great joy to his life.

Rickey was predeceased by his adaptative parents John and Marie Holmes.

Outside of work, Rickey found happiness in the simple things he loved most - spending time around horses, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. He will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, sense of humor, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends.

Though he is gone from our sight, Rickey's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Memorial Service
A memorial service, honoring Rickey Roland Scheffler, will be held on May 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Ball Play Baptist Church. All Are Welcome!
