Rickey Gaddis

Rickey J. Gaddis, age 54, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Rickey was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed spending time fishing and working on mechanical projects, always willing to lend a helping hand or share his skills with others. Above all else, Rickey's greatest joy was his grandchildren and wife, who held a very special place in his heart.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Patricia Gaddis; his brother, Gary Gaddis; and his beloved granddaughter, Elena James.

Rickey is survived by his devoted wife and selfless caregiver, Shannon Gaddis, whose unwavering love and dedication carried him through his hardest days; his children, Scotty James, Paige James (Amanda Buice), Dakota James (Amber), and Alyssa Brymer (Kevin); and his cherished grandchildren, Carter James, Landon Brymer, and Bailey James.

He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott and Jan Brown; his sister- and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Hutton, Jimmy and Tonya Green, and Anthony and MistI Brown, along with many other family members and friends who loved him deeply.
