A message from the family: 

Thank you friends and Family for each prayer and word of encouragement that you have sent to all our family members. With heavy hearts, we invite you to celebrate the life of Richard S Trow. (Rick, 65) , who passed away at home on August 2 2025. 

Rick will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family. Rick was a faithful member of ChristWay Church in Ooltewah, TN. His life is a testimony to the impact of being involved in life groups, especially his men's group as he grew in his relationship with the Lord. He lived his life with joy and passion for the Lord. Rick was a walking billboard for the last few years of his life as he wore a Love is Why shirt everywhere he went. Before Rick passed, he requested that everyone that has a LOVE IS WHY shirt to wear it to his memorial.

 The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 3:00pm- 5:00pm in the Hub at Christway. The receiving of guests will begin at 3 and a ceremony will begin at 3:30. We hope you can join us to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to assist funeral expenses and to bless his wife Virginia Trow.
