Richard Gay, 70, passed away on October 21, 2024, in Cleveland, TN.

Richard Gay was born on November 21, 1953 in Gainesville, GA, to James Gay and Vivian Townsend.

Richard was best known for going fishing, playing the guitar and drums, coin and baseball card collecting, avid Tennessee Vols fan, and loving father and grandfather.

Richard is survived by Brandy Gay - daughter, of Cleveland, Steven Clark - son, Vivian Townsend - mother, Patricia Brand, sister, Vivian Talbot, sister, Tammi Cashen, sister and 5 grandchildren - Carlos, Tatiana, Anabelle, Isabella, and Bryson.

Richard is preceded in death by James Gay - father, Jerry Gay - brother, and Joan Brewer - sister.

The service for Richard Gay will be held on Sunday, at 4:00pm at Companion, The Chapel on the Hill.

Visitation: Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Companion, The Chapel on the Hill.
