Richard Dean Norris

Sergeant First Class Richard D. Norris (U. S. Army, Retired) died peacefully at home in Decatur on June 6, 2019 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Jacqueline Cowles of Athens, sons Richard Craig of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Leonard of Missoula, MT, and Dean Lee Norris of Edgewood, NM, stepson David Lillard of Chattanooga, and their children and grandchildren. Ours is a family filled with sadness tempered with everlasting good memories. As he wished there will be no services and he will rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
