Richard Davis

Richard D. Davis, 69 passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026 at his loving Mother's home in Cleveland, TN.

He is survived by his mother, Kaye Roark, two sisters Angela Davis Blair and Donna Moore; one brother Steven Davis as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Donald D. Davis, his brother Mart Davis and son Justin Davis.

He retired after 32 years at Magic Chef. He loved race cars, go carts, fishing and spending time with family and friends sitting around a bon fire.

God looked around is garden and saw and empty space,

And then He looked down from heaven and saw your tired face.

God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb, He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered "Peace be Thine".

Your weary hours and days of pain, the sleepless nights are passed.

The ever patient worn out frame has found sweet rest at last.

His garden must be beautiful for He only takes the best,

He put His loving arms around you and gently said "Rick, come home to rest".
