Richard Charles Strong, 59, peacefully departed this life surrounded by those who loved him on Saturday, March 21, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN. He was a skilled auto-body technician expert, amongst his jack of all trades disposition. He had a love for nature and animals. He was a friend to all, compassionate, eccentric, patient and kind-hearted among his many wonderful qualities. He enjoyed getting lost in the mountains, fishing, classic cars, and loved to play his music loud. He was one of a kind. He will be missed, but his love of life and laughter will continue in the hearts and thoughts of those who love him. He is preceded in death by his Father, Charles F. Strong; maternal grandparents Frank & Frances Godfrey; paternal grandparents Robert & Ellen Strong; Stepfather Jim Wells and many animal friends. He is survived by many who will forever carry his memory and honor his legacy: adoring Mother, Linda Lee Wells, of Cleveland. Proud Daughter, Kiara Ivia Strong (former resident of Cleveland) and Grand-Children Seraya Adaire Strong and Preston James Finlay, of Panama City Beach, FL. One Sister Charlotte McCraw & Husband Larry, of Melbourne, FL. One Brother, Randall Strong & Wife Maria Theresa (Jerome) of Manila, Philippines along with Niece, Aisha Strong of Phoenix, AZ. Aunt Darlene (Hans) Gruetzenbach of Dalton, GA. Companion Debbie McClain; Special Care-Giver Pamela Darr-Wood; Life-Long Friends Mark Bowman and Mark Wells and the Wells Family. Special Thanks to Adoration Hospice, CJ Climer-Swallows & Emily Climer. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date to be determined. Fly high free bird; the wind will carry you to mountains high and valleys low. We love you.
