Roy Houston "R.H." Daub Jr.

Roy Houston "R.H." Daub Jr., 69, passed away on September 20, 2026. He was born to the late Roy H. Daub Sr, and Pearl Naomi Daub on July 10, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia.

R.H. loved family time with his grandchildren and dogs. He enjoyed being outside to ride on tractors, gators, and mowers, and collecting old tools.

In addition to his parents, R.H. was preceded in death by his in-laws, Frank and Mamie Tinsley.

R.H. is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen Daub, daughters, Dara (Matt) McDonald, Natalie Daub, grandchildren, Hunter (Kamille) Kilgore, Brooke (Hillary) Kilgore, Emily Kilgore, Abbi Kilgore, Draco McDonald, Maddox McDonald, great-granddaughter, Athaliah Hesson, brother, Mike Daub, and his in-laws, Tim and Debbie Tinsley.

A celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Deacon Tim Tinsley officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
