Rebecca Jane Sweet, affectionately known as "Janey," age 66, of Englewood, TN, went to her Heavenly Home on November 3, 2026. She was born in Loudon, TN, on October 6, 1960.

Janey is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Eugene Raby and Hazel Grace Garrett Raby; her husband, Roy D. Sweet; and her siblings, Patsy Stephens and Junior Garrett.

She is survived by her children, Brian Sweet, Crystal Sweet (Chris Lovinggood), and Katie Sweet; seven beautiful grandchildren; her siblings, Polly Montooth, Patricia Oody, Betty Hardy, and William Raby; several nieces and nephews, including her especially close nephew, Bob Montooth; along with many dear friends and extended family members. She also leaves behind her precious dog, Star, who held a special place in her heart.

Janey had a huge heart and a tremendous love for her family. She greeted nearly everyone she met with her familiar words, "Hey, sweetie," and was known for her humble spirit and kind heart. Her presence brought warmth to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by so many who were blessed to know and love her.

In accordance with Janey's wishes, a Celebration of Life service will be held at Community Baptist Church, where she attended, located at 120 County Road 287, Niota, TN, on November 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The service will be officiated by her nephew-in-law and preacher, Eric Hines. Everyone who knew and loved Janey is warmly welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
