Raymond Andrew Shanks

Raymond Andrew Shanks “Rayzor”, 80, passed away September 16, 2017.Raymond’s passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles led him on unprecedented travels throughout the United States. He also acquired his Commercial pilots license, Captains license, and General Contractors license. Raymond served his country as a paratrooper in the Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew B. Shanks and Elizabeth Hatch Shanks; brothers George Shanks, Roger Shanks.
Survived by his children, Dana Raye Oxley, Gordon Andrew Shanks, Thomas Andrew Shanks, Nick Ralph Shanks; brother, Ken (Cindy) Shanks. He also had 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters.
There will be a service at Chattanooga National Cemetery Monday September 25, 2017 at 10am.
