Randy Lake Climer

Randy Lake Climer, 61, of Cleveland, TN passed away on July 16, 2020. He was born on October 18, 1958 to Jacob Lake Climer and Honey Dixon Climer. Randy was a lifelong resident of this area. He loved being outside and rocking on the porch. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Randy was a tremendously loving man who helped any and everyone that he could. Randy was also a member of Michigan Ave Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lake Climer and his grandparents: John and Bertha Climer and E.M. and Cynthia Dixon and his loving partner of many years Nancy Bowman.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Honey Climer; son Jason Gilreath (Amanda); daughters: C.J. Swallows (Billy) and Emily Climer; siblings: Sandi Scarbrough (Johnny), Scott Climer, and Beth Climer Davis; grandchildren: Jonathan, Leah, Jordan, David Henry, Taylor, Brayden, and Mikenzi. In addition to these he leaves behind special friends Terry Lee and Lynn Jones.
Randy’s family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday July 20, 2020 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of his life will be held at 7:00pm following visitation. He will be laid to rest at Michigan Avenue Cemetery at 11:00am on Tuesday July 21, 2020.
