Randall Jay Thomas, age 78, passed away on June 22, 2026.

Randy was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa who treasured every moment spent with his family and friends. Raised on a farm, he enjoyed helping with the family business from an early age. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he worked several jobs before beginning a career as a truck driver, traveling across the countryside.

In his spare time, Randy found great joy in reading the Bible. His deep knowledge and faith inspired him to write three biblical books, including God's Foreknowledge and Our Hindsight. He also loved working outdoors, whether driving his tractor or mowing the yard, always striving to keep it looking its very best.

Randy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Thomas; his father, Harry Thomas; and his sister, Paula Dweese.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Juanita Thomas; his sons, Stacey (Renee) Thomas and Steven Thomas; his daughter, Melissa (Samuel) McCroskey; his sister, Patty York; his grandchildren, Damon Thomas, Brianna Davis, Luke Davis, Zoey, Xavier, and Zander; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Services will be held at a later date.

When I am gone, release me, let me go.

I have so many things to see and do,

You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,

But be thankful we had so many good years.

I gave you my love, and you can only guess

How much you've given me in happiness.

I thank you for the love that you have shown,

But now it is time I traveled on alone.

So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must

Then let your grief be comforted by trust

That it is only for a while that we must part,

So treasure the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on.

And if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near

And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear

All my love around you soft and clear

And then, when you come this way alone,

I'll greet you with a smile and a "Welcome Home".
