Rachel Louise Ware

Rachel Louise Ware, 89, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 8, 1931. Rachel was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church and a huge Lady Vols fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents Fate & Bea Morrow, her loving husband of 69 years Hoyt Ware, one son Terry Ware, one son in law Lebron Smith, one brother Bobby Morrow, one granddaughter April Eaves and three great grandchildren David Borden, Cameron Sluter and Haddie Eaves.
Rachel leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters Doris Smith, Vickie Swafford and her husband Hoyt and Katie Eaves and her husband Mick, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, two brothers David Morrow (Xan) and Phillip Morrow (Wanda), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating her life will take place following the visitation time on Tuesday at 7:00 PM with the Reverend Fred Russell officiating.
