Premo Mondone Jr.

Premo Mondone, Jr., 59, of Cleveland, TN passed away unexpectedly at his home on, Saturday, February 27, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Friends may pay respects from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Services will be held at Companion Funeral, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
Premo was born at Fort Jackson, S.C. to Premo Mondone, Sr. and Doris Grillo Mondone. He graduated from Jacksboro High School in Jacksboro, TN and Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and also his beloved grandparents, Sonto and Cynthia Mondoni, and his aunt and uncle, Gaetano and Connie Pelizzari. He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Lawson, and his brother, Christopher Mondone. He is also survived by his half-sisters Angie, Melissa, and Lisa. He leaves behind three daughters: Adriana, Cristina, and Laura. He was a proud grandfather of five to Wyhatt, Christian, Damian, Lilliana, and Lydia.
Premo was a passionate UT Vols fan and political activist. His patriotism was evident in everything he did. His love for political discourse and social media led him to one of his most prized accomplishments, establishing a conservative online radio network. In 2010, he founded Red State Talk Radio, which has already earned notoriety and acclaim, including “Top Internet Network,” in a few short years. Premo was a hard-working and self-made man, owning and operating his own businesses, including Southern Computer Services and Volunteer Hosting.
