Phyllis Elaine Armstrong

Phyllis Elaine Armstrong (née Patterson), age 72, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025 with family at her side.

A native Tennessean, Phyllis moved around the country throughout her life, residing in Florida, West Virginia, Texas, New Jersey, and Virginia before moving back home to Chattanooga. She was kind to every person and animal she met and her generosity was boundless. She loved good music, bad television, and all things spooky.

She was preceded in death by her son Andrew Armstrong, brother Keith Patterson, both parents, and a series of spoiled, grateful cats. She is survived by her husband Ken Revert, daughter Liz Armstrong, and brother Scott Patterson.

She will be inurned at Washington County Memory & Cremation Gardens beside her beloved son. There will be no service. Many thanks are extended to Hearth Hospice and Life Care Center of Collegedale for the extraordinary care and comfort they provided. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate time, money, or items to a hospice local to you.
