Phillip Gregory Lawson

Philip G. Lawson Sr., age 45, passed away peacefully at his home on January 29, 2026, in Harrison, Tennessee.

Phillip will be remembered for his presence, his love for his family, and the impact he had on those who knew him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved son, Phillip G. Lawson Jr.; his mother, Deborah Hunter; his father, Gregory Lawson; his brothers, Kevin Lawson and Jonathan Hunter; and his step-sister, Jennifer Hunter. He also leaves behind many loving aunts and uncles, along with a large extended family of cousins who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Joel G. Hunter, who passed away in 2017.

Funeral services will be held on February 21, 2026, at 1:00PM at Bayside Baptist Church, located at 6100 TN-58, Chattanooga, TN 37341. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Phillip's life.
