Peyton Cheyenne Watson, age 30, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on October 19, 2026.
Peyton was a loving mother, daughter, and sister with a huge heart and a beautiful ability to see the best in everyone. She had a caring spirit and found joy in helping others and spending time with the people she loved most. Whether it was talking on the phone, painting, swimming, fishing, or simply sitting and listening, Peyton treasured the moments she shared with her family. She enjoyed doing hair and nails, and fishing was one of her favorite pastimes. Above all, her love for her family was at the center of her life, and she will be remembered for the love she gave and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her.
Peyton was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Jim and Elizabeth Jenkins; and her paternal great-grandparents, Margie and Bill Tankersley.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother and honorary second father, Tammy and Steve Buckner of Cleveland; her father, Ryan Watson of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and her two very special sons, Kamdyn Holden and Koltyn Watson, who were a precious part of her life. She is also survived by her very special sister, Mecalah (Brandon) Kennedy; Chance (Magalie) Watson; Chesney Watson; Chanley (Micah) O'Neal; Austin Buckner; and Andrea Buckner. She leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Taylin Kennedy, Alaina Kennedy, Eamon O'Neal, Stryker and Asher Buckner.
Other cherished family members include her grandparents, Jimmy and Sheila Sharp of Cleveland and Roger and Judy Watson of Blue Ridge, Georgia; her aunt, Jennifer Watson-Lovingood; and her uncles, Mark Watson and Dustin Sharp. Peyton also held a special place in her heart for her two very important bonus daughters, Jaymee and Callie Davis, whom she was so happy to have the opportunity to know and love.
Though Peyton's time here was far too short, the love she shared, the memories she created, and the lives she touched will continue to live on through her family and all those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever treasured in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
You are invited to share a personal memory of Peyton or your condolences with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral and Cremation Service Cleveland Chapel and the Cody family are honored to assist her family with these arrangements.
