Peggy Sue Bates, 69 and lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lucille Varner.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, James Richard Bates; step-son, Phillip Bates, and his children, Aayla Bates and Austin Burnette; siblings, Darrell (LouAnn) Varner, Debbie (James) Anderson, Timmy (Chris) Varner, and Patricia Dixon; half-siblings, Jim (Joella) Varner, and their children, Virginia Woody, Bill Varner, and Patricia Thomas; brother-in-law, Willard (Margie) Bates; and nieces and nephews, Bryan (Jenna) Varner, and their son, Liam, Aaron (Alicia) Varner, and Jeremy Anderson.
