Patsy Sue Boyd

Patsy Sue Boyd went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2020. Patsy was a lifelong resident of Riceville, TN. She was an active member of Hilltop Baptist church where she enjoyed playing the piano and singing. Her career spanned over 30 years at Maytag in Cleveland, TN where she retired from. Patsy lived her final years in Dominion Senior Living Center in Athens, TN.
She was preceded in death by parents, Albert & Estella Boyd, brother Edward Boyd and his wife Carolyn Boyd.
Patsy leaves behind to cherish her memory her four nieces, Pam Griffin and her husband Wayne of Birchwood, TN, Tammy Swafford and her husband Joe of Riceville, Darlene Boyd and Carol Housley and her husband Jason of Englewood. Patsy is also survived by many great nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Patsy is also survived by her 1st cousin JR Colloms of Riceville, who was like a brother to her.
A graveside service is planned for Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Riceville Cemetery with the Reverend Fred Russell officiating. Wayne Griffin, Joe Swafford, Wesley Swafford, JR Colloms, Jeremy Griffin, Tyler Swafford and Jason Housley will serve as pallbearers.
