Listen to Obituary

Patsy "Pat" Louise Feezell, age 78, of Englewood, entered her eternal home with Jesus on Sunday, November 23rd.

She was the beloved wife of 62 years to Dewey; cherished mother of Dana (Hershel) Humphrey and Donna (Randy) Ballew; devoted grandmother to Jacob (Elizabeth) King and Josh (Molly) King; and proud great-grandmother to Hadleigh, Reecelyn, Bennet, Bear, and Baker. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Glenda (Ronny) Samples and Anna Mae Rucks.

Pat was a longtime local business owner of The Apple Tree Country Store and was known for her warm spirit and hardworking nature. She found joy in gardening, planting flowers, and raising chickens, hobbies she shared with many friends, especially her dear and enduring friend Ricky Hayes.

A faithful member of Everlasting Life Baptist Church in Englewood, Pat served wholeheartedly as choir director and as a devoted pastor's wife. Her life was enriched by many treasured friendships and a deep, unshakable faith. One of her favorite songs proclaims, "I know my Lord is going to stand by me," and indeed, He held her hand throughout her life and gently walked her home.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society to support continued research in the fight against cancer.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 1st at 11 a.m. at McMinn Memory Gardens, with beloved friend Teresa Shooster officiating.

Companion Funeral & Cremation Service of Athens and the Cody family are honored to assist the Feezell family with these arrangements.
