Patsy Ann Cassada, 81, passed away on September 15, 2026. She was born to the late Maria Theresa Smith and Walter Watson Davis on January 4, 1945 in Richmond, Virginia.
Patsy loved to spend her time outdoors, whether that was at the beach, walking, riding her bike, camping, hiking, or just spending time in nature. She frequently volunteered at the local hospital, and worked in the banking industry- serving as First Citizen's VP. She was an excellent baker- famous for her yeast rolls and Christmas cookies. Patsy valiantly survived her battle against Breast Cancer. She cherished her time with her family and friends, as they meant the world to her.
In addition to her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her son, Timmy Barrett Cassada, her siblings, Zane Davis, and Dorothy Davis Gill, and her beloved dog, Shadow.
Patsy is survived by her son, Tom Edward (Denise) Cassada, daughter, Theresa Cassada Greeson, grandchildren, Christopher (Shannon) Cassada, Lauren (Tommy) Cassada Calfee, Jackson Barrett Cassada, Kelsey Reagan Cassada, great-grandchildren, Teegan, Raley, and Zander Cassada, Samuel and Scarlett Calfee, brother, Doug (Kay) Davis, and her cat, Layla, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary.
