Patrick Scott Quinn, 30, passed away on October 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Patrick was not given an easy life, but you would have never known it by looking at him. Despite the challenges he faced, he was quite possibly the happiest person you could ever meet. He didn't know or care about the things he was missing out on. He was simply happy to be surrounded by his family and the people who loved him.

Patrick graduated from Orange Grove Center in 2017. He loved loud music, flashing lights, and most of all, food! There was nothing in the world Patrick loved more than food, except maybe his little sister, and even that was probably a close race.

But more than anything, Patrick will be remembered for his beautiful smile and his great big belly laugh. His smile could light up an entire room and warm your heart, and hearing him laugh could fill you with enough love and joy to last for weeks. His happiness was contagious, and it was nearly impossible not to smile when you were around him.

Although Patrick lived with disabilities that prevented him from experiencing many of the things others take for granted, he never seemed to feel that he was missing anything. His world revolved around the simple things that made him happy, and he had a remarkable ability to share that happiness with everyone around him. Patrick didn't need words to express his love. You could see it in his eyes, hear it in his laughter, and feel it in every moment spent with him.

Patrick was loved beyond measure by his family and adored by nearly everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He brought more joy into this world than he could have ever known, and his family will forever cherish the thirty years they were blessed to share with him.

Patrick is preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Cecil Wilson Sr., Lee Townsend, Roy McNutt, paternal grandfather, Marvin Quinn, maternal uncle, Cecil (Butch) Wilson Jr., paternal aunt, Ressie Quinn, and cousin, Cameron Kelly.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Patty and Reggie Quinn, siblings, Lyndsay Quinn, Keith Lumpkin, brother-in-law, Adam Miller, cousin (who was like a sister), Jamie Wilson, nephew, Michael Miller, maternal aunt, Kim Wilson, paternal uncle, Ralph (Tammy) Quinn, paternal aunt, Reba (Dale) McGowan, maternal grandmothers, Lynda Townsend, Brenda McNutt, paternal grandmother, Willie Quinn, and many other cousins and friends.

Though his absence leaves an immeasurable hole in the hearts of those who loved him, the memory of his beautiful smile, his infectious laughter, and the unconditional love he gave so freely will live on forever.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Plowman Cemetery.
