Patrick Alexander Bivens

Patrick Alexander Bivens, 84, passed away on June 5, 2025. He was born January 13, 1941, in Cleveland, TN, and of the Baptist faith. Patrick was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. He loved gardening, farming, church activities and taking pictures of flowers.

Patrick is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Bivens; mother, Muriel Bivens; father, Pledger Bivens; daughters, Darlene Benton and Connie Thacker.

Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Martha Jean Bivens; son, Alex Bivens; daughters, Michelle Geraldson, Tina Childers, Sherry Brown and Marie Hall; siblings, Sarah Hobbs and Kaye Keldorph; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, Monday, June 9, 2025, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 797 Hughes Lake Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323. The service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jack Epperson officiating. The burial will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
