Patricia Anne Hunter, 83, of Oak Ridge, Anderson County, TN peacefully passed away in her sleep on June 16th, 2026. She was a resident of the area for 42 years.

She enjoyed reading, shopping, genealogy, and a good Mexican restaurant. She was a talented gardener, scrapbooker, and loved to crochet. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She and her husband Tom were avid campers throughout their whole marriage and were always looking for a new adventure. She and Tom always had a dog and loved the unpredictable moments pets provided.

She was quiet and private, but boasted a great sense of humor. She always sought to surround herself with vibrant and lively decor, clothing, and people. She loved dessert and always had a stash of Reese's eggs. She enjoyed her online friends and many years of reading, scrapbooking, and creativity together. She worked for Hallmark for nearly two decades, where she forged many long-lasting friendships harmonized by a lifelong love of collecting holiday ornaments.

She was a loving sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Tom and her parents Anne and Frank Dyche.

She is survived by her sister Carole, her daughter Kim (Jared), her son Allen (Lori), her granddaughters Raime and Olivia, her nieces Brennan, Elaine, and Charlene, and her nephews Barron and Austin.

At a later date, the family will hold a private memorial to honor Patricia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christmount of Black Hills, NC. https://www.christmount.org/wish-list
